The rules

Terms of participation

Last updated August 21, 2026

01

What you purchase

Goodbid sells promotional placement on a public leaderboard. A purchase is not a direct charitable donation by the customer, does not produce a charitable donation certificate, and does not purchase ownership of a permanent ranking.

02

Rankings

Rankings are based on cumulative successful placement purchase subtotals excluding taxes, attributed to a verified brand domain. Rankings can change at any time, including during checkout. Goodbid does not reserve positions.

03

Goodbid’s nonprofit commitment

Goodbid commits 50% of eligible purchase revenue excluding VAT and other taxes to nonprofit donations. The remaining 50% is Goodbid’s platform share. Payment processing fees are a Goodbid expense and do not reduce the nonprofit commitment.

04

Monthly transfers and beneficiaries

Goodbid chooses one featured beneficiary per donation period. Amounts committed during a calendar month will normally be transferred by the 10th business day of the following month. Displaying a beneficiary does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership unless Goodbid explicitly states that a real agreement exists.

05

Brand verification and moderation

A work email matching the submitted website domain must be verified before checkout. Verification is a basic anti-impersonation measure, not a legal certification of authority. Goodbid may correct, refuse, or remove fraudulent, misleading, abusive, infringing, or otherwise harmful submissions.

06

Refunds

Placement purchases are generally final once processed because placement begins immediately. Goodbid may issue refunds for duplicate or fraudulent payments at its discretion. A refund removes the related subtotal from rankings and commitment calculations.

07

Contact

Questions about participation, moderation, or refunds can be sent to [email protected]. Replace this address with your operating support email before launch.
